What the price includes
- Every feature of MailCode: Exchange (EWS), Microsoft 365, Gmail and IMAP accounts, the local archive, search across years of mail, PST and .eml import, rules, labels, flags, calendars and the rest. There is no “Pro” edition.
- Updates, delivered through the app, at no extra cost.
- Support by email at [email protected].
Currency and tax
- The Windows price is in US dollars.
- MailCode for Windows is sold by Gül Yüce, under licence from the developer, through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and emails the receipt and your licence key.
- Companies can enter a VAT or tax number at checkout and receive an invoice.
Refund policy
- Windows — within 14 days of purchase: a full refund, no questions asked. Write to [email protected] with the email address you bought with (the order number helps), or use the link in your receipt.
- The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. How quickly it appears is up to your bank.
- A refunded licence key is disabled. Within about a day MailCode returns to the state it was in when the trial ended — your mail and settings stay where they are.
- After 14 days, purchases are not refundable, except where the law requires it. Nothing here limits your rights under the consumer law of the country you live in.
- Mac — MailCode is sold by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them.
The full policy is part of the Terms and Refunds.
Questions
- Is this a subscription?
- No. You pay once. There is no renewal, and the licence does not expire.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- MailCode stops opening your mail until a licence is entered. Your accounts, local archive and settings stay on your computer; nothing is deleted.
- Does one purchase cover both Mac and Windows?
- No. The Mac version is bought through the Mac App Store and the Windows version from Gül Yüce, so they are separate purchases.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. On Windows, ask within 14 days of purchase and you get all of your money back — see the refund policy above. On a Mac, refunds are requested from Apple.
- Why does the Mac version not count PCs?
- The two stores work differently. On a Mac, the App Store ties the purchase to your Apple ID, and you can use it on the Macs you own. Windows has no such account, so the licence key is the only thing that can carry the purchase — and a key covers 2 PCs, which you can move between machines with Deactivate this PC.
- We need more than 2 PCs.
- Buy one licence per 2 PCs, or write to [email protected] for a single invoice covering the whole team.
